WW Martin - Coronavirus Statement - 23rd April
Having suspended works on most sites on Friday 27th March with the exception of critical healthcare projects, we have now extensively reviewed the site operating procedures published by the Construction Leadership Council and aligned with the latest guidance from Public Health England, to implement the recommended procedures for our sites to operate safely in the current COVID-19 environment.
We can advise that we have commenced a re-mobilisation of some of our sites. We will start at a reduced capacity in order to ensure all site operatives adhere to the recommended site operating procedures and enforcing social distancing.
The Government has made it clear that the construction industry plays a vital role in supporting the UK economy and that, where we are confident we can safely operate our sites, we should do so. Safety will be our overriding priority and we have been working collaboratively with our staff and supply chain to ensure works can continue safely.
