WW Martin donate to the QEQM Viking Day Unit 'Donation Station'

We were delighted to deliver several bags of food and household goods donated by our staff to the Viking Day Unit at QEQM Hospital Margate last week.

The ‘Donation Station’ was set up by the staff of the unit after they noticed patients were struggling with their finances while going through chemotherapy treatment, with many unable to afford basic household essentials.

On receiving the donations, Chemotherapy Facilitator Wendy and Chemotherapy Sister Gemma said "We are so grateful for the donations by the staff of WW Martin, and we know our patients will be too. They will make a real difference to the families that are struggling - thank you so much from all of us."

We are currently on site at QEQM Hospital Margate, carrying out an extensive refurbishment of the Emergency Department.
