WW Martin host school children visit to Chantry Academy, Gravesend
School children from Reception to Year 6 were given the opportunity to visit site and look at the progress of the construction works to the new Chantry Academy, Gravesend.
Works on site are progressing well as the construction of the 2-form entry Primary School, located to the northern edge of Gravesend town centre, approximately 300m to the south of the Thames Estuary takes shape.
Working with OSG Architects, the design of the new school will see the new school accommodate 420 primary pupils, increasing the schools current capacity from 1FE to 2FE with provision for 26 nursery places.
Kathryn Duncan, Head Teacher, Chantry Academy, Gravesend said:
The children really enjoyed it
and parent feedback suggests they had a great time. The excitement is now building
for September.
