WW Martin inaugural Charity Golf Day a success!
We are delighted to announce that our very first Charity Golf Day was a great success and we would like to thank all of the people and businesses that took part in the day and supported us.
On what was a very sunny and warm day, 24 teams of 4 took to the course at Chart Hills in Kent on 17th July, each captained by a leading PGA Golf Professional to help us celebrate our 140th year in business in Kent, and importantly raise money for a very good cause; James Tredwell and his associated charities (Crohns & Colitis UK and PCA Benevolent Fund).
Known by many as 'Tredders', James, a former England and current Kent cricketer was awarded a Testimonial Year in 2017 by Kent County Cricket Club for 2017, in recognition of his excellent career with the Club. We are very pleased to support 'Tredders' and his chosen charities and would like to once again thank everybody who helped us raise a brilliant amount of money on the day.
We would also like to congratulate the winning teams.
