WW Martin named as a Finalist for 2 Apprenticeship Awards

We were pleased to attend the inaugural East Kent Apprenticeship Awards (EKKA) at The Yarrow Hotel, Broadstairs on Thursday 7th March after being nominated in 2 categories:

Apprentice of the Year, Construction & Engineering – Connor Hyde

Business of the Year, Construction & Engineering – WW Martin

The EKKA ceremony was organised and held for Apprentices and those businesses and public sector teams giving young adults a chance to shine and be recognised in East Kent.

The Awards which were sponsored by Discovery Park, Pfizer, Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, KM Group, and East Kent College helped showcase what is being achieved across the numerous sectors engaged with apprenticeships including construction and engineering, hospitality and retail, science and manufacturing, business administration and health and beauty.

Congratulations to everybody involved and well done to the Apprentices and businesses involved this year. The Awards were a great way to recognise the excellent work that is being done by businesses who support and encourage Apprentices but also the Apprentices themselves.
