WW Martin Ltd sponsor the Canterbury Festival at 'The Great Hall'
With our works continuing at Kent College over the summer to construct 'The Great Hall', a new performing arts building, we are delighted the venue has been selected to host four events throughout the Festival this year.
The new building, The Great Hall is to provide a facility for the whole school at Kent College Canterbury to gather as one community for a variety of purposes, such as assemblies, worship, drama and musical performances, as well as being available to the wider community. The new building will seat 300 people in theatre mode and 600 in assembly mode.
The Great Hall will be one of Canterbury Festivals key venues, with four high profile events located there. One is a talk that will serve as the Kent College Lecture as part of the Festival. The other three are music events including Sacconi Quartet, Classico Latino with guest artist Omar Puete and The Guitar Conspiracy 7 Guitars... One Plan.
As an independent charity, the Festival brings a rich mixture of performing arts from around the world, championing new talent and inspires artists to create and perform and we are delighted to be part of the event.
