WW Martin named as Finalist in the Construction Project of the Year category at the 2024 Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Awards

We are delighted to announce that we have been named Finalists in the Construction Project of the Year category at the 2024 Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Awards, for our major expansion and remodelling of the Emergency Department at QEQM Hospital in Margate.

Delivered in multiple phases, our team navigated the complex operational challenges of working within a live, busy hospital environment. Through meticulous planning, exceptional project coordination, outstanding design, and fantastic teamwork, we ensured the uninterrupted delivery of patient care at this vital facility, part of the East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust (EKHUFT).

Now complete, the project features a newly designed Emergency Department (A&E), a Rapid Assessment & Treatment area, dedicated mental health facilities, a paediatric emergency department, remodelled ambulance bays, consultation and treatment rooms, along with various staff wellbeing and patient care amenities.
