WW Martin office named as best workspace in 2023 Design Awards

As a main contractor based in Ramsgate, Kent for over 145 years, we were very pleased to have no fewer than 4 of our most recent local projects recognised in the Ramsgate Design Awards 2023.

With a great variety of projects shortlisted as finalists in the awards, our projects performed strongly; our newly refurbished / remodelled offices were named as the Winner in the Best workspace / Commercial project category.

With our offices located in Dane Park Road since the early 1900's, this is a nice marker in the history of the business and the ideal environment for us to look to the future as we hope to deliver many more exciting projects.

The Ramsgate Society, with the support of Ramsgate Town Council, established the awards to recognise and celebrate buildings and places that are valued by the local community and show the very best design and construction process throughout the project, whether building from new or repairing the old in Thanet.

Our project successes on the evening included:

• QEQM Hospital - Best building or project in Thanet (Commended)
• Poppy Fields, Melbourne Avenue - Best newbuild residential (Highly Commended)
• Cottington Gardens, Cottington Road - Best newbuild residential (Commended)
