​WW Martin Raises £12,500 for East Kent Hospitals Charity

We are delighted to announce that in 2024 we raised £12,500 for East Kent Hospitals Charity. Supporting the charity has been a privilege, and we take great pride in having worked alongside colleagues, partners, and the wider community to achieve this milestone.

Key Fundraising Initiatives

The fundraising journey began with a Go Karting Race Night at Buckmore Park, which brought together staff and industry friends and colleagues for an evening of competitive racing. This was followed by a Pro-Am Golf Day at Canterbury Golf Course, where golf enthusiasts showcased their skills while contributing to a worthy cause. A 5-a-Side Football Tournament at the WW Martin Community Stadium, organised in partnership with Ramsgate Football Club, fostered teamwork and raised significant funds for the charity. To conclude the year, a team from WW Martin joined in a ‘Chilly Challenge,’ a winter dip in Dover Harbour which added a memorable highlight to the fundraising efforts.

Supporting a Vital Cause

The funds raised will be directed towards the Special Care Baby Unit at QEQM Hospital, improving facilities for some of the most vulnerable patients and their families. We look forward to sharing further details regarding the specific improvements enabled by this support in due course.
