WW Martin achieves an 'Excellent' Considerate Contractors Scheme rating at the Chantry Academy, Gravesend
We are delighted to announce that we achieved an 'Excellent' rating from the Considerate Constructors Scheme for our project, the Chantry Academy, Gravesend.
As part of our commitment to building good relationships on our projects and showing a strong commitment to undertaking our works in a considerate manner, we are long term members of the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS).
The CCS Scheme is a non-profit-making, independent organisation founded in 1997 by the construction industry to improve its image.
As a Kent based main contractor, we register our sites voluntarily with the Scheme and agree to abide by the Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.
As part of the assessment on our site for new modern 2FE school for the DfE formerly the ESFA, we scored well against a set criteria in three categories: the general public, the workforce and the environment by demonstrating efficiency, competent management, awareness of environmental issues and neighbourliness.
A big congratulations to Richard Jones, Site Manager, and his team for their efforts.
