WW Martin supports Pilgrims Hospices annual Christmas Tree Recycling event
We were delighted today to support Pilgrims Hospices with their annual ‘Christmas Tree Recycling’ fundraising event, which raises vital funds every year to support end-of-life care for local people.
Two WW Martin ‘volunteer elves’ travelled around Thanet this morning, collecting local residents' Christmas trees in return for a donation to the charity. The trees are recycled in an environmentally friendly way, turned into either agricultural compost or chips for a local animal rescue centre.
We are very pleased to support such a worthwhile initiative for this vitally important local charity.
Each year, Pilgrims Hospices give care and comfort to thousands of people in east Kent who are coming to terms with an illness that sadly cannot be cured. The charity support patients to live life as well as possible until the very end, free from pain and distress. Make a donation to Pilgrims Hospices here
