WW Martin take part in careers fair at Hope View School
We spent a fantastic day with the amazing young people at Hope View School in Chilham last week, discussing careers and opportunities in the construction industry.
Hope View is an independent special school for boys ages 11-18 with complex needs including ASD, ADHD, social, emotional, mental health and learning difficulties.
It was great to talk to the boys about the important jobs that our staff do every day, and share some of our stories about what working life is like on a live construction site. We enjoyed answering the interesting and perceptive questions asked by the pupils, and were so impressed by how much knowledge some already had about the construction industry.
At WW Martin, we pride ourselves on our inclusive and diverse workforce and so we were particularly pleased to be involved in this very special event.
