WW Martin Volunteer Team visit War Memorials across Thanet to carry out improvement works
We were delighted to provide a team of volunteers to visit the First World War Memorial in Manston Village and the Dunkirk Memorial Plaque at Harbour Yard, Ramsgate, last week. Our team carried out essential maintenance and improvement works as part of Thanet District Council’s ongoing project to restore and preserve war memorials across the district.
Our group company, WWM Civils, is also contributed to the project, generously donating time and materials to restore the inlaid stone at the base of the Dunkirk Memorial Plaque.
This initiative is part of our social value activities, delivered in partnership with Thanet District Council. It forms part of a broader effort to ensure these monuments are properly maintained for future generations.
We are proud to play a part in supporting this important project and look forward to contributing to the continued preservation of Thanet’s historical legacy.
