WW Martin welcomes East Kent College Staff to site

We were delighted to welcome staff and teachers from the East Kent College Group to our Thanet District Council projects in Margate today.

The visit forms part of our ongoing skills development and knowledge exchange partnership with EKC Group, designed to strengthen collaboration between industry and education. Through planned site visits, pathway reviews and curriculum input, we are helping ensure that teaching staff have up-to-date knowledge of current construction practices, new technologies and sector developments such as decarbonisation.

Our team, including Site Manager Paul Rollason, Social Value Champion Angela Gardiner, and Business Development team Ben Green and Ruby Collier were on hand to host the visit, share insights from live projects, and highlight the diverse career opportunities within the construction industry.

We are proud to support meaningful engagement with local education partners, helping to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application.
