WW Martin win two awards at the South East Construction Awards 2023

Best Construction Project of the Year

Our 100% affordable housing scheme Poppy Fields at Melbourne Avenue, Ramsgate developed in partnership with Orbit Homes and GPM2 Architects delivers 55 new homes, demonstrating best practice in sustainable design and construction, with carbon emissions reduced both during construction and in the operational lifecycle of the building.

Providing a total of 55 new affordable homes in Thanet, the project delivers exceptionally high quality standards, providing for the needs of local residents both now and in the future.

The project has also successfully championed local employment, training and apprenticeships, something that was recognised and praised by the judges in announcing the awards on the night.

Women in Construction

Our Technical Coordinator Leanne Jarvis was named the Winner of the Women in Construction category – an incredibly well-deserved recognition of her passion for the construction industry and commitment to drive forward innovation at WW Martin, developing ideas and implementing a range of progressive initiatives across the business.
