Description

Completed in summer 2023, this Design & Build contract provides a new memorial park and crematorium for Memoria UK, situated in a rural setting on the outskirts of Faversham.

Built using a steel frame system and finished with traditional materials, the crematorium building and chapel sit within a large, landscaped Garden of Remembrance .

This large expanse of external landscaping includes water features, memorial gardens, a wall of remembrance, and quiet seating areas offering calm and peaceful views over the surrounding countryside.

With the client delighted with the finish and quality of the project, the work is testament to the close collaboration and excellent work with our approved supply chain partners.

For instance, WWM Civils, a WW Martin Group company, were integral to the project from the earliest point of the works commencing on site.

They were involved in extensive external works, including the provision of a new access road, permeable parking areas and landscaped walkways.
