Description

Working collaboratively with the project team, Lee Evans Architects, Hawden and MLM, the design for the complete renovation of the Ames building was carefully considered to ensure Folkestone College’s expectations and requirements were met.

The works comprised the complete remodelling of the building’s current layout, repairs to the external façade, the installation of powder-coated aluminium windows, new flooring, installation of a modern commercial-grade kitchen, new lighting throughout and a complete reconfiguration of all the existing mechanical and electrical facilities.

The renovation provides Folkestone College with a modern, user-friendly office space located over the current three-storey building, and a contemporary restaurant / breakout area, delivering a fresh, modern and practical working environment.
