Wyvern School, situated on the Great Chart bypass in Ashford, specialises in providing education for youngsters aged between three and nineteen years old with severe and complex learning needs.
Appointed by Kent County Council for the project, our works on site involved the construction of a single storey block linked to the existing school to create seven new classrooms, a communal area, care facilities, specially-adapted toilets and office space.
Our works also included providing a new access road, parking and associated landscaping as well as improvements and re-grading of the school playing field.
Now complete, the excellent new school provides the chance for children with special needs to learn in modern, purpose-built accommodation.
The staff at the school have praised the new facilities and believe the children will enjoy their learning experiences that much more, helping them to achieve great results.
