Description

Owing to an increase in demand for primary school places across the London Borough of Bromley, the Pioneer Academy was expanded from a two- to a three-form entry primary school to help accommodate some of this need.

The completed project, which ran exceptionally smoothly on site, provides fantastic new facilities for the school, including a new multi-purpose hall which incorporates a roof top Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA). The other new facilities include additional classrooms as well as associated increases to circulation areas, toilets, storage areas and offices.

To deliver the project on the busy school site, we implemented robust method statements for all aspects of the work, ensuring the safeguarding of all teachers, staff, children and other school stakeholders.
