Children at Whitstable Junior School enjoy new reading books courtesy of WW Martin

As part of our work with the KM Charity Team and their Green Travel and Healthy Lifestyle campaign, we were very pleased to present Whitstable Junior School with some lovely new books as part of a special school assembly.

The School successfully had the most children take part in a Walk on Wednesday (WOW) earlier this year in which over 120 schools took part.

These books also follow on from the prize that Oliver Glewis, a Year 4 pupil at the school received after being select at random by the school to be the Mascot for the day at a Kent Cricket in Canterbury.
