Description

We have been appointed to deliver the construction of a new standalone expansion block at Northfleet Technology College in Gravesend, Kent, on behalf of Kent County Council.

The project comprises a two-storey, free-standing new build designed to support the school’s 1FE expansion. The development has been progressed through RIBA Stage 4, with full planning approval in place.

As part of the commission, we are undertaking validation of the Stage 4 design proposals and assuming full design responsibility for the completion of all remaining design elements required to deliver the construction works which are anticipated to comment around April this year.

The new facility will provide a range of specialist accommodation, including a dining hall with grab-and-go servery, full catering facilities and dedicated engineering workshops.

Associated external works also form part of the scheme, including alterations to surrounding areas, improved pedestrian links between the new block and the main school building, and the formation of a new service access route to support the operation of the site.
