Description

We have successfully handed over Phase 2A of the Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) Centenary Village in Aylesford to our client.

The RBLI was first formed in 1919 to provide support to sick and wounded soldiers returning from the First World War. As the organisation drew closer to celebrating their milestone centenary year, they wanted to ensure that they had the facilities in place to support veterans and their families for the next 100 years.

The Centenary Village is a result of the RBLI’s vision which began as far back as 2015 when they launched their new strategy ‘Improving Lives Every Day’.

Working closely with the RBLI and Clague Architects, our work on Phase 2A of this development involved the delivery of 40 high-quality housing units, comprising a mix of four family homes, 12 apartments and 24 fully-supported living units, together with communal and social spaces.

Centenary Village offers excellent wrap-around care, social facilities and services to help ex-service personnel and their families, creating a thriving intergenerational residential community.
