Description

This project, located at the Chatham Historic Dockyard, was delivered for the University of Kent.

The Sail and Colour Loft is a building of exceptional significance, an important early 18th Century naval storehouse and workshop that is now the sole surviving Sail Loft in any Royal Dockyard.

Working closely with the University of Kent and the Chatham Historic Dockyard, we undertook significant conversion and refurbishment work. This included the refurbishment of part of the ground, first and second floors to provide offices, teaching rooms, break-out areas and WC's for the Kent Business School.
