Description

We are delighted to share the completion of this this new two-storey school in Teynham for Kent County Council.

The existing school building was erected as a temporary building around 50 years ago, and was still in use well beyond its originally anticipated operating life, suffering from inadequate insulation, heating and ventilation systems. The new building allows the school to increase from 210 pupils to 420 pupils, plus approximately 30 pre-school pupils at the privately operated nursery.

The new-build two-storey school features 12 general teaching classrooms, two reception classrooms, one practical space, one studio / Breakfast Club space, a learning resource centre, a large general purpose hall, SEN therapy and resource spaces, medical room, general admin space, WCs and associated circulation areas together with a separate nursery, MUGA, cycle spaces, landscaping, access and parking.
