Description

We are delivering a programme of fire compartmentation and remedial works across the East Kent Hospitals estate, working in partnership with 2gether Support Solutions, acting on behalf of East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust (EKHUFT).

The programme involves a structured schedule of fire safety upgrades across the Trust’s hospitals, supporting ongoing compliance and improving life safety for patients, staff and visitors. Works include the replacement of fire doors, installation of fire dampers, completion of fire stopping works and associated drylining repairs and alterations.

To date, the programme has included completed ward areas, main hospital streets and compartmentation works to service risers within plant rooms. More than 250 fire doors have been installed across multiple hospital sites as part of the improvement works.

Delivered as part of a long-term measured term contract, the programme demonstrates our ability to manage complex, estate-wide fire safety works while maintaining consistent standards of safety, quality and coordination across live healthcare environments.
