Description

Our new project at West Kingsdown has now officially started on site. This development, delivered in partnership with English Rural Housing Association, will provide 13 much-needed homes to support the local rural community.

Designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, the development features a mix of affordable and private homes. English Rural will manage 10 of these homes, while the remaining three will be retained by WW Martin. The layout has been carefully planned to create an attractive, high-quality residential environment, with a central shared open space providing a strong sense of community.

Sustainability and ecology are key considerations for this project. Thoughtful design measures include dedicated ‘badger corridors’ to maintain natural wildlife pathways and ‘wildlife kerbs’ that allow amphibians to navigate safely around drainage features. These initiatives ensure that local biodiversity is preserved while delivering high-quality housing for future residents.

Once complete, this development will provide sustainable, well-designed homes that align with local and national housing priorities, meeting the needs of the West Kingsdown community for years to come.
