At School Lane, West Kingsdown, we successfully delivered a residential housing development on behalf of English Rural Housing Association (ERHA).
The scheme provides 13 high-quality new homes, helping to address local housing needs while supporting the long-term sustainability of the rural community. The layout has been carefully designed to create an attractive residential environment centred around a shared open space, encouraging interaction and supporting a strong sense of community.
Sustainability and environmental responsibility were integral to the scheme from the outset. The homes incorporate photovoltaic panels, air source heat pumps, and a fabric-first design approach to improve energy efficiency. Ecological measures, including badger corridors, wildlife kerbs, and dedicated buffer zones, were also introduced to support local habitats and maintain natural wildlife movement across the site.
This project represents our second successful collaboration with ERHA, building on the delivery of the Coxhill development in Shepherdswell, and reflects the strength of our ongoing partnership in delivering affordable rural housing.
